eight.past.ten began in 2023 as Gerald's way of collecting the feeling when encountering unique watches.  Through careful observations of the case proportions, the light play on a dial, and hidden details are reimagined through watercolour and calligraphy inspired illustrations.

Each illustration starts on Procreate, an iPad app, chosen so Gerald could paint in whatever pocket of free time he finds. Entirely self-taught, he's since brought these pieces beyond the screen through animations and physical prints.
