Coming from a watch-dial-making family, he developed a deep fascination with watches from an early age. After studying finance in the UK and working at JP Morgan, Leonardo chose to pursuit his true passion that continue the family legacy and build something exceptional on his own terms.
Due to the utmost respect for German watchmaking, the name “Selten” is taken from the German word for “rare”. According to Leonardo, “The quality, craftsmanship, and beauty of German craftsmanship, and beauty of German watches, as well as the resilience of the German watchmaking industry, serve as a strong inspiration for me.”
To date, SELTEN has introduced four distinctive models: the Series 00, Salvage Bronze, M1 Moonphase, and the latest Grand Feu Enamel Series. Now joined by his wife, Kristine, who founded a leather strap company HasNoBounds to support Leonardo at the beginning. Selten continues its focus on innovative materials and exceptional dial craftsmanship.
