ABOUT YI LEATHER
YI Leather was founded by Shuyi Ng 8 years ago, who helms both production and other aspects of the atelier. Starting with zero knowledge on watches, she spent a decade in the watch retail scene, and in time, gained experience in basic watch repair. She became a self-taught leather crafter specialising in handmade watch straps, with a belief that all collectors deserve a bespoke handmade strap for their watches without having to break the bank.
She works with leathers sourced from reputable tanneries all over the world, resulting in a wide selection of leather types and colours available for different tastes in the catalogue. While the atelier continues making straps for end consumers, Yi Leather expanded its horizon, collaborating with local watch retailers and brands – such as Feynman Timekeepers, and Mitch Mason Watches, just to name a few.
