Founded in 2020 by Susan Galvin, an experienced watchmaker, Galvin Watch Company debuted its first collection, Alku, via a successful crowdfunding campaign. Supported by 261 backers, this collection marked the company's entry into eCommerce and retail.

Following Alku, the Loimu collection was launched, characterised by its vibrant, guilloché style dials. In April 2024, the Suvi collection was introduced, featuring dial colours inspired by the Finnish summer.

All collections reflect Susan's Finnish heritage: Alku means "the beginning," Loimu means "blaze," of the Northern Lights and Suvi means "summer." Every Galvin Watch timepiece is designed, assembled, and tested in Sydney, Australia, by Susan herself.

For Spring Sprang Sprung 2024, Galvin Watch Company will be launching a Singapore Special Edition of 30 pieces of the brand’s Suvi collection. These 30 pieces will be made exclusively available for first dibs to the event attendees. For this edition, the standard dial has been changed to a 2-layer smoked sapphire dial, with red grading outwards to black. The lower layer has guilloche, and hands, indices, logo and guilloche is lumed with a lumed ring on the crown just like Lomu version.
