Khagos is a brand that emphasizes innovation, creativity and individualism. The name Khagos originates from the Sylheti word for paper. The name was chosen to represent the concept that every new idea starts on a blank sheet of paper, and serves to highlight the Bengali heritage of Nizam Miah, Khagos’ founder. Paper is a formless and unrestrained medium where self-expression can begin. Ideas start on the page and grow into something more. We believe that every watch we put on our wrists should be as creative and unique as we are. It is our goal to continue to create new watches using unique materials that highlight our passion for the new and creative.

Our first watch is the Khagos Chapter One, the first chapter in what will be the story of Khagos, and the story of anyone who wears a Khagos watch. The Chapter One features a bezel made from coffee. We took it upon ourselves as our first challenge to find a way to use something we don’t associate with watches but is equally a part of most of our lives and find a way to wear it on our wrist every morning. Our dial is a simple and clean design to remind you of a fresh cup of coffee, the strap harkens to the jute bags that coffee comes in, and the engraving on the back highlights the piece of nature that you are carrying with you on your wrist.

We are excited to continue to find new materials and new stories to tell through the art of watch making, and we’re excited to debut and share our first chapter at Spring Sprang Sprung.
